Hi, I’m Avi.
I’ve been working with electricity and electronics for over 15 years and I’ll tell you, it’s exciting and dangerous at the same time.
I’m a Certified Electronics Technician (CET) credentialed by ETA-I in Industrial Electronics. My background is in industrial electronics, where I spent years diagnosing and repairing complex electrical systems on heavy equipment. That kind of work teaches you things no textbook can how electricity actually behaves, what really goes wrong, and how to fix it safely.
DIYTechVault was born out of one simple frustration: most DIY advice online is written by people who googled it five minutes before you did. I wanted to create a place where the information is accurate, practical, and written by someone who has actually worked with this stuff.
Here you’ll find guides on home electrical, HVAC, smart home setup, tools, and general DIY all written with a technician’s eye for detail and safety.
Whether you’re a first-time homeowner or a seasoned tinkerer, my goal is to help you get the job done right and not get hurt doing it.
Welcome to the Vault.
